Sports Camp for Life is not your typical sports camp. We here at SCFL are serious about our sports, and about kids learning necessary life skills through sports. We know sports are important in kids lives, but what's most important is their ability to learn and develop the necessary life skills that will enable them to make sound decisions and achieve their full potential through out life. We use a curriculum ( Learning-for-Life ) that is age and grade appropriate. This curriculum deals with life skills, teaches leadership skills, enhances positive character traits, and puts emphasis on career development. This camp targets kids in middle school (jr. high); helping them at a very pivotal point in life, to make good decisions that will build and strengthen their character. Here at SCFL we teach that if you make good decisions on the field, then you can make good decisions off the field. Sports Camp for Life will Inform, Educate and Empower your children to Make a Difference not only in their own lives but in the lives of others.

A message from the Founder and President:

It is such an honor that you are visiting Sports Camp for Life website. I am a local business owner and a native of Manatee County. I had the pleasure of playing youth, High School and Semi-Professional Football. I've always desired to give back to the community in which I live, so I started coaching youth football. I noticed that there was a need to help kids develop essential life skills that would help them succeed on and off the field. I have a passion for sowing into young people lives, teaching them life skills that can make a positive impact on their future. The best way to reach kids is to get into their world, and show them that you very interested in their success.

I became motivated by my own learning experience, I learned about life through sports, and what I learned helped me succeed in life. I want kids to know that life is not just about the sports, but the life skills you develop through the sports will take you further than the games themselves.
